Summary

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic interns to join our One Health initiative remotely. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the interdisciplinary field of One Health, which encompasses human health, animal health, and environmental health. Interns will work closely with our team of experts to support ongoing projects and contribute to research and outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in virtual community outreach and education programs to raise awareness about One Health issues. Create Social Media Contents.
  2. Collaborate with team members to develop and disseminate educational materials and reports.
  3. Attend virtual meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance understanding of One Health principles and practices.
  4. Support administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, documentation, and reporting.
  5. Assist in the design and implementation of research projects related to One Health.
  6. Collect and analyse data from various sources, including online surveys and literature reviews.
  7. Interns can be part of the Project One Health's newsletter editorial team.
  8. Interns are required to give regular journal club presentations.

Eligibility

  1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field
  2. Strong interest in the interdisciplinary approach of One Health
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  5. Strong analytical and organizational skills
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva

Available seats

Out of the total 20 available seats, 10 seats are allocated solely based on the merit in the recruitment exams conducting by Project One Health.

Our recruitment procedures involve three levels. After resume scrutiny, the first list of the candidates will be published. This will be followed by a written examination, and then an interview. Exam and interview are scheduled in Indian Standard Time. Please adjust your timings accordingly.

The remaining 10 seats are available for direct recruitment on a first-come, first-served basis with fee payment.

Student Ambassadorship

About The Program

Project One Health is looking for passionate and committed students nationwide who are interested in becoming student ambassadors for the One Health concept. As a student ambassador, you will represent Project One Health on your college campus by raising awareness of public health issues, promoting One Health-related services, and interacting with students, staff, and the local community.

Qualification

  1. Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a recognized University.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage peers effectively.
  3. Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of taking the initiative to drive campaigns and events independently.
  4. Passionate about education, writing, and promoting learning opportunities to fellow students.
  5. Previous experience in event organization, or leadership roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  1. Act as a spokesperson for ‘Project One Health’ on your campus and actively promote our activities, services, and initiatives related to One Health.
  2. Plan and take part in activities, workshops, and seminars to raise awareness of the One Health idea within various scientific and the local communities both on and off the campus.
  3. Work together with academic clubs and student organizations to build relationships and reach a larger audience.
  4. Provide support to team ‘Project One Health’ when conducting sociological surveys to determine any public health issues.
  5. Provide feedback and insights from your campus to the ‘Project One Health’ team to help refine and improve our offerings.
  6. Preserve ‘Project One Health's ideals and culture and uphold a favourable brand image.
