💡 About the Programme

Rabies is a 100% preventable disease—yet it continues to claim thousands of lives every year, especially in underserved communities. In honor of World Rabies Day, we are launching a nationwide Rabies Awareness Programme to educate, engage, and empower communities with life-saving knowledge.

Led by Project One Health, this initiative mobilizes over 100 trained volunteers to reach 5000+ individuals across schools, colleges, villages, and urban neighbourhoods. Through interactive sessions, street plays, posters, and community dialogues, we aim to dispel myths, promote responsible pet care, and encourage timely vaccination.

This initiative emphasizes the One Health approach, recognizing the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health in combating antimicrobial resistance.
